‘System.ServiceModel.Channels.ReceivedFault’ in Assembly ‘System.ServiceModel, Version=4.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b77a5c561934e089’ is not marked as serializable.

This morning I was stuck with the error message that was throwing out of our MS CRM E-Mail router ..

When it tried to test the incoming and outgoing email it was showing following message  :

Incoming Status: Failure - Type 'System.ServiceModel.Channels.ReceivedFault' in Assembly
'System.ServiceModel, Version=4.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b77a5c561934e089'
is not marked as serializable.

Outgoing Status: Failure - Type 'System.ServiceModel.Channels.ReceivedFault' in Assembly
'System.ServiceModel, Version=4.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b77a5c561934e089'
is not marked as serializable.

Solution :

Provide domain user account in the deployment tab of
Email router that is part of group "PrivUserGroup"
that will fix this issue.
